Ted Esser, Ph.D., teaches in the Transpersonal Psychology graduate departments at Sofia University (previously the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology), where he has taught on Spiritual Emergency, and at Atlantic University. He has been an Assistant Editor at the International Journal of Transpersonal Studies. He contributed a chapter based on his doctoral research in the book Lucid Dreaming: New Perspectives on Consciousness in Sleep called “Intentional Experiences of Kundalini and Nonduality in the Lucid Dreaming State.” He has served on the Board of Directors of the Grof Foundation, as the Director of Operations for the Spiritual Emergence Network for over twenty years (founded by Christina & Stanislav Grof in 1980), and maintains a spiritual counseling practice working with people from around the world.
